Job Title:        Design/R&D Engineer

-        Dimensioning, design and simulation of converters for traction applications
-        Collaboration and technical reviews with R&D center in Switzerland
-        Planning and execution of type tests of power electronic components and system integration tests of whole traction chain
-        Specification and dimensioning of power electronic components and technical evaluation with suppliers
-        Cooperation with control engineering and mechanical engineering
-        Support of engineering and technical sales team and technical documentation

-              Technical discussions, reviews and quality control meetings with sub-suppliers

-        Masters degree in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics
0 I; W6 w* S- x# j" S6 }-        PhD or experience in design of converters based on IGBT technology is a plus
-        Knowledge in electric measurement, set-up experiment environments and testing methodology desired
-        Familiarity with modern simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Simplorer (or alike)
2 w- ]7 i' t5 J) o/ i; h0 F( w-        Extensive knowledge of electrical power components such as transformers, inductors, capacitors, motors
( O8 o" t" w! S; b" }-        Able to work independently and under pressure
-        Good English and Chinese communication skills both verbal and in writing
