Tasks
: F( z, [% D8 L3 Q7 p-        Dimensioning, design and simulation of converters for traction applications
% }+ [, X  X$ }5 S9 `& ]4 I# l-        Collaboration and technical reviews with R&D center in Switzerland
-        Planning and execution of type tests of power electronic components and system integration tests of whole traction chain
$ G- z# w# d0 @0 f0 d-        Specification and dimensioning of power electronic components and technical evaluation with suppliers
# ?9 f! P1 F2 U/ @! k9 Y-        Cooperation with control engineering and mechanical engineering
* G$ P% N2 u* S, G-        Support of engineering and technical sales team and technical documentation
# a7 v; n+ p6 e$ Y* z1 T1 _
# d- r% Z3 B( D4 ^: Z-              Technical discussions, reviews and quality control meetings with sub-suppliers

Requirements
2 ^5 a+ I+ I* V; A* D% h-        Masters degree in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics
-        PhD or experience in design of converters based on IGBT technology is a plus
-        Knowledge in electric measurement, set-up experiment environments and testing methodology desired
. E9 O' U9 m2 ?& T0 U* r4 e* ?-        Familiarity with modern simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Simplorer (or alike)
6 L, V3 {3 M5 O) I4 j6 s' v. o-        Extensive knowledge of electrical power components such as transformers, inductors, capacitors, motors
-        Able to work independently and under pressure
-        Good English and Chinese communication skills both verbal and in writing

-              Willing to travel occasionally
