# B' m& v1 N* t' mR&D Software Application Engineer in Alstom Grid China, Shanghai

ROLE & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Application Software Team Lead, the SW engineer is involved in all the global application software development activities (i.e.: design specification, protection algorithm simulation, SW coding, SW unit test…).
, ^+ A- ^+ Y% o5 ?' U8 b8 XEXPERIENCE REQUIRED
        Electrical network and protection knowledge is a must.
9 H& F2 P/ A% z4 `8 y' ]        Protection protocol knowledge is a plus.
        Coding experience in C/C++ is mandatory,
        Good knowledge of MATLAB is a plus,
* ]6 N5 l- u* [        Have some knowledge of UML is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. a  Q. A/ s- I) p' u7 S3 O        Masters degree in Power Automation or Relay Protection,.
* H7 i' |& ^- S/ Y        Good English skills in speaking, reading and writing.

Personal Attributes
        Diligent and team spirited.
        Very good self-learning skill.
% b# f1 V1 q" p0 b$ d/ U/ N        Excellent organisational and time management skills
