This is a student intern software engineering role within the Software R&D team based in Chengdu, China. The role will report into the local (Chengdu) Multi-core Software Technical manager. It is a contributing role that involves daily technical activities associated with multi-core software applications development. There will be a focus in providing regional-specific development / support; initially this will be for general multi-core software technology, advancing into a level of system expertise in latest wireless application with Freescale Technology.
Key responsibilities:
/ R) M' o7 y: HDevelopment, testing, documentation and support of multi-core software applications as a contributing member of the software team in Chengdu with special emphasis on regional focus (China, Korea, etc).
The Generation/publishing of benchmark results and application notes that illustrate the performance available from Freescale QorIQ multi-core processor.

% z- Q4 T# s. J6 p- iCandidate is currently pursuing Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Microprocessor Engineering, or similar discipline, good command of C.

It is expected that candidate can work in Freescale at least 3 working days every week.
Exposure to embedded software systems and/or embedded applications development.
' z+ t. ?) z. m# }6 vSolid understanding of communication systems, experience in networking technology such as broadband access and wireless market would be an advantage.

It is a contributing role that involves daily technical activities associated with applications development based on Freescale standalone DSP/ QorIQ SOC, especially to wireless base station application.

Provide technical support to regional FAEs and customers involved in DSP design win efforts;

Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Microprocessor Engineering, or similar discipline;
Exposure to DSP embedded software systems and/or embedded applications development;

: X1 _; I) P$ J! X9 HDomain Knowledge of 3G wireless is desired,  TD-SCDMA / LTE experience preferred;
