Hi, the following position descriptions for intern come from the Corporate Research Center of ABB in Shanghai. And ourdepartment focuses on the research of Mechanics domain.

Position: Mechatronics Intern

Role Description:

• Mechanical design
• Robot application test
  8 U  q9 I. J7 J4 }; {) @

Dimensions: 1 Position

AssignmentLength: 4-6months or longer, start from May, 2017

MainAccountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical parts for robot concepts and applications, including grippers,     fixtures, robot stations, etc.
• Help initiate and improve robot application solutions;
• Setup and implement robot experiments;
• Components selection and purchase

Knowledge,Skills and Experience:

• MSc, major in Mechatronic Engineering or related
• Good mechanical sense, skilled in mechanical design, skilled in SolidWorks
• Experience in robotics/programming would be a plus
• Strong responsibility, innovative and active attitude
• Good oral and written English capability
• Open-minded and good communication skill
